Overview

Clipfound ("we", "us") builds tools that scan long-form video and audio to find clip-worthy moments. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Clipfound is currently in pre-launch, waitlist-only mode — the sections below describing uploaded content apply once the product opens to users, and will be updated as features ship.

Information we collect

• Waitlist & account info — the email address you give us to join the waitlist or, later, to create an account.
• Usage data — pages viewed and interactions on this site, collected via PostHog analytics, so we can understand what's working and fix what isn't.
• Uploaded content — once Clipfound is live, the audio or video files you upload for processing, and the clips/timelines we generate from them.

How we use it

We use your email to send waitlist and product updates, usage data to improve the product, and uploaded content solely to generate the clips and timelines you asked for. We do not sell your data.

AI processing & your content

We never use your uploaded footage to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. Your content is processed to generate your results and is not repurposed for any other customer or for model training.

Retention & deletion

You can delete a project — the source file and every clip generated from it — permanently, at any time, once the product is live. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run Clipfound, including PostHog (analytics), Convex (application backend), and Netlify (hosting). Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, request a copy of it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@clipfound.com.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as the product evolves and note the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to the email on file.
